How to set up your Conway+Banks hockey bag!
Dec 12, 2025
Setting up your Conway+Banks hockey bag is literally as simple as 1,2,3
- Take the largest divider, and secure it to the longest velcro strip on the bottom of the bag, then secure it to the side wall velcro strips. Notice there is a velcro strip along one side wall of the divider, make sure this side is facing the other velcro strips that are currently unused.
- Take the 2nd largest divider, and secure it to the bottom of the bag and the divider you just installed in step 1.
- Repeat this step for the smallest divider. This is optional. Some players don't use this at all. Depends on your personal preference!
How I like to set up my bag
- Jerseys and socks in top flap mesh pocket
- Biggest compartment: pants, shoulder pads, shin guards, elbow pads
- Next biggest compartment: skates, few pucks
- 2 smaller compartments: gloves in 1, helmet in other. Some people don't use this divider at all
- Tape, wax and scissors in the pocket by the foot mat, along with my shower sandals - they are the really thin ones
- Inside small pockets are littered with small stuff like helmet repair kit, extra laces, bandaids, beer bottle opener
- There's also a water bottle pocket on the inside wall
- There's a pocket on the largest divider, I use this for snack bars and extra skate blades
- The mesh bag: shower essentials and under garments
